MMAJunkie.com has confirmed that "Hughes vs. St. Pierre 3" will indeed take place at UFC 79 on December 29, 2007. The fight will be a five-round Welterweight "interim title" fight. MMA Junkie reports that GSP did not hesitate to take the fight.
Yesterday, it was widely reported that Matt Serra had backed out of his UFC 79 title bout with Matt Hughes due to an untimely herniated disc injury.
